The aim of the work is to analyze the prevalence of bronchial asthma (BA) in premature babies according to epidemiological studies. An epidemiological study was conducted on the prevalence of asthma in premature babies in the PubMed, Cochrane Library, ReSearchGate databases for 1996–2016. A high statistically significant prevalence of BA among premature infants was established compared with the incidence of BA in term infants in the population. Thus, prematurity is a predictor of BA in children.
