Were studied clinical and immunological markers of severity and duration of the disease, using the weekly scale of activity of CU- UAS7 (UAS7-urticaria activity score, 7 days) in order to verify the features of chronic urticaria (СU) in children. This study revealed some clinical and immunological characteristics of CU in children with varying severity (activity) and duration of the disease. It is found that increasing the number of activated basophiles (Ваt-203c++), activation of the complement system (increase of level of С3а, С1іпһ) are not favorable laboratory markers indicating longer periods of illness and expressed activity of the CU. Laboratory markers of patients sensitive and refractory to antihistamine (AH) therapy were determined (the elevation of total IgE and С3а in sensitive to Н1-АН; normal values of total IgE and a significant increase of С3а in refractory to H1-AH patients). Was revealed the association between the activation of complement system, normal IgE values and the degree of CU activity in children with longer periods of the disease, refractory to AH therapy. Among the 65 children with CU, 32 (50%) achieved complete remission after 6 months – 1 year, 26 (40%) after 2 to 3 years, 7 (10%) retain episodic urticaria symptoms of varying intensity.
